Quantum Love Seminar
This workshop is an interactive presentation and discussion about the true nature of reality. It is centered around the concept that consciousness is the ground of all being. It is said that the universe loves a paradox. We will delve into the paradoxes presented by duality and separation, soul vs mind, service to self vs service to others, love vs fear and the paradox of our very being itself. We will highlight the unity of all spiritual and philosophic belief systems and also reveal that ancient civilizations knew a lot more than we realize about science, spirituality and our true reason for being.

Meditation Basics - Awareness of Oneness - Chakra's, Mudra's & Mantra's
"Research into the workings of the human brain have produced concrete evidence for something that practitioners of meditation have maintained for centuries. That mental discipline and meditative practice can change the workings of the brain and allow people to achieve different levels of awareness. This discovery was the result of a long collaboration between The National Academy of Sciences and Tibet's Dalai Lama".
The workshop will start with an interactive discussion, followed by a meditation. You will get to practice and experience the relaxation and clarity resulting from a guided group meditation experience. We will combine unified Pranayama breathing, with a guided visualization of the Chakra's and the light body, concluding with a focus on the Aham Prema (Divine Love) mantra. We will delve into the Eastern tradition of meditative Yoga, the goal of which is a realization of the existence of only ONE Consciousness which is undivided, complete and without beginning or end. (The techniques presented have been practiced and developed over the centuries in India and Tibet. This is not a Yoga class, we are just using the term Yoga as it’s true meaning is: “the state of experiencing union with Infinite”. Also, we are using Sanskrit terms as it is the oldest known language, also called “the spiritual language”, because of the effect it’s enunciation has on our consciousness.
Overview:
"The aim of meditation is to still the mind. Using techniques to control the mind, gradually the veils of ego and emotions can be peeled away, revealing the true Self, the nature of which is unalloyed bliss and happiness. Sitting in a steady seated pose, watching the breath, focusing the mind, are the first steps in the beautiful journey of silence called meditation. Meditation will enable you to begin to experience the limiting nature of your mind and see the intellect as an instrument of the Self. This awareness guides us in conscious evolution and helps us seek out our innermost needs, our purpose for being. Chanting: Chanting is an expression of joy through sound. It melts the heart, fills the mind with purity and generates harmony. It offers a space to resonate in harmony with yourself, the group and your surroundings. Through chanting emotions can be transformed from suppression into expression, releasing blocks and embracing feeling in a whole and positive way. Chanting opens up personal expression and communication, an enjoyable experience of energy vibrations".

Mantras:
Simply put, Mantra’s are ancient sacred words that we chant. They eventually quiet the mind, as the reason they are repeated is to stop you from thinking! The goal is go to the space between the thoughts, what Sri Aurobindo called Supramental consciousness, above the mind and matter. Into the soul which resides above temporal reality, into absolute reality, where we came from, where we are going back to, what we really are.
Pranayama:
Pranayama, loosely translated means: “breathing control to activate life force energy”. The autonomic nervous system has two parts, the sympathetic (sometimes called fight or flight) and the parasympathetic (sometimes referred to as the relaxation response). When we breathe deeply and long in and out, we expand the stomach like a balloon, which makes us become conscious of the body to feel the heart. Do not think or make an effort to breathe, your breathe is given to you, let the force behind the breathe guide you.
“The creator is directly experienced through watching the breath”.
Swami Shree Yogi Guruji Satyam
Prana:
In the core of our body, we need to be aware of the Ida and Pingala, or the flow of life force energy in the form of a male/female polarity. Balancing the god/goddess within, causation and beingness, is a key step in enlightenment, and leads to a realization of our oneness. We worshipped a divine feminine archetype for centuries, then forgot her. It is important to realize the duality of the God head, as a Heavenly Father and Divine mother BOTH do exist. One of the most important keys to enlightenment is to find the voice of the sacred feminine within, for she is the field of infinite possibility, she makes you realize that the universe is alive and supportive, abundant and creative. Once you realize this, you connect to that part of yourself that IS her, whether you are a man or woman. Once we are balanced in our true state of being, we can then embrace oneness. From there, it is easy to then connect with all sentient life in the cosmos, as well as directly to creator itself.
Chakras:
In the Yoga disciplines, (and most Eastern religions), there are 7 energy centers in the body called Chakra’s. For thousand of years, Chakra’s have described as spinning wheels of etheric energy, each of which governs different bodily functions and processes, as well as emotional states and corresponding aspects of our spiritual being. Once the Chakra system is aligned and reset, it restores our sense of vitality. This process is also believed to increase the vibrational frequency of the body.
We will learn each of the following concept(s) together:
One Asana – We will all assume a comfortable seated body position, there will be no other movement other than hand positioning.
Mudra's - Simple hand positions that allow you to open and close certain energy flows within the body, facilitating relaxation and expanded awareness.
Dyhana – visualizing the light body while balancing our male and female polarity, (Ida & Pingala).
Format:
We discuss meditative techniques and answering any and all questions about all matters, meditative, philosophic or spiritual. We then do a guided, group mantra chant at each gathering. We do not follow any one specific belief system but we do honor the time tested and proven meditative techniques emanating from India and Tibet. We close with a guided Chakra meditation, which results in a feeling of deep peace and relaxation. This is not a yoga class, we simply sit upright in a chair or on the floor.
